I am astounded that this hotel charges over £100 a night! Where do I start! There are two hotels on site, the international and continental. I stayed on the continental but visited both. It reminded me of the crossroads motel in the 80s. Old and run down and of that era. The staff at reception in the international I found...

I needed a place to stay before an interview and this place was the closest (and believe it or not cheapest) I could see online. The hotel and room was clean, if very overheated, but I thought I'd go for a swim whilst I was there. I was told that because I'd only booked a room for £69 swimming was...

After staying in the lodges, this is a bit of an upgrade, but the receptionist wasn't over friendly like the others in the main hotel. Didn't really tell me anything about food, wifi nor where the room is after walking up the stairs only to find I'm on the ground floor! The room itself is okay clean the bed is...

This hotel was like something out of Fawlty Towers. We arrived at 11.30pm after spending a long day at the hospital with my sick mother. We did a last minute booking on late rooms and the receptionist could not find the booking. The receptionist was completely incompetent and really had no idea what he was doing. He told us that...

I stayed with 3 business colleagues at this hotel recently, admittedly it was Farnborough Week and there weren't many alternatives BUT! I paid £189 for a very basic, nearly shabby room, after checking in all I wanted was a hot shower and something nice to eat & drink, what I got was a clean but un lovely room, I jumped...

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here the night before seeing her sister pass out from the army from Pirbright. Overall the hotel appeared quite rundown and 'old fashioned'. We entered our double room and the only way we could describe it was basic. We paid £99 for our one night stay and both agreed this definitely not worth it, we...

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Old furniture, faded charm... but worst - there was no water in the morning. The shower completely off, the toilet did not flush and on the sink there was only cold water! After I complained they tried to relocate me to a different room, but then found out that the whole wing I...

Forget all the bad reviews. Myself and 2 colleagues stayed at the Continental for 2 nights and we thought it was fine. Cleanliness was excellent, bedrooms (slept like a log) with a lakeside view. Food ok - we did not expect cordon bleu, if we wanted that we would have dined out in town. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Only...

This hotel has huge potential but is run down and tatty. Wallpaper is torn, wooden fixtures are chipped, signage is laminated paper... It's all just sub-standard. Check-In was informative, but the reception area isn't a very welcoming environment. It's a bit dark and dingy. Completely uninviting. All staff, however, were polite and helpful. Other clientele could be heard vomiting as...

Visiting family we stayed here for two nights and with all the usual amenities,( for making teas and coffees etc).the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spotless and the staff were very good, helpful and efficient. We would stay here again hopefully with more time to spend at this large complex.
