Regular customer at this MOTEL, I say motel as the direction the owner is taking this great establishment is disappointing. Great staff that are unappreciated and not listened to. After a long work day you need to unwind with a drink and a meal that is on site, well this is not the place for you. On check in you...

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in Lodge room 214. The room was large and clean with good facilities, a comfy bed and secondary glazing which virtually eliminated the sound of the traffic outside (the hotel sits within a busy traffic roundabout) resulting in two good night's sleep. I had the full English breakfast which was well cooked...

Stayed one night after visiting the National Arboretum. The hotel is situated on a busy roundabout, but has convenient parking. As two couples we had booked adjacent rooms in what was described as a newly refurbished lodge the rooms were not available when we arrived. In fairness to the receptionist he upgraded us to the first floor family rooms which...

I had a single room which was small but not too small. It was nice and clean and the bed was lovely and comfortable. Plenty of electrical sockets although one was not working. The hairdryer was broken. The hotel itself could do with being refurbished as it is looking a bit shabby. The staff that I dealt with were very...

We had the Elizabethan Suite with a Jacuzzi spa bath and four poster bed, both of which were awesome! Staff were helpful and friendly. Would have given 5 stars were it not for the fact they had no evening restaurant! Struggled to find somewhere to eat on a busy Saturday night, so if we'd known in advance about the weird...

This is My second home, maybe not the most luxury place but it has charm. Nice place in the city of Burton upon trent, the staff is very friendly. I like the lodge rooms. They serve breakfast, dinner and have a small pub

The hotel rooms are very basic and a bit shabby but the staff are helpful and the breakfast was good. We stayed in what they called the Annes suite, lounge downstairs and bathroom, bedroom upstairs. Moved the sofa in lounge closer to tv and behind it were crisps and rubbish which the cleaner had missed ( see picture). were going...

Did not get football result we wanted but was pleased with hotel. Does need updating, but was clean and tidy. Room was very warm and the hot water was very hot! Breakfast was cooked to order and was tasty and was just enough. The location opposite the bridge brewery was good and we did not use the bar so have...
