A great place to stay with beautiful grounds to wonder around including a little river walk. Saw some bats in the evening from our room and lots of birdsong. The staff could not have been more helpful and our room was a lot bigger than we first thought with two arm chairs which was a bonus. The bed was Kingsize...

I spent a very enjoyable few days at this hotel, whilst touring the local area, in particular National Trust properties. I was with several friends, all of whom voiced the same plaudits. If you want to stay in this area, you would have to search high and low to better this experience

The manager was really rude and didnt listen to comments about poor signage on the road hidden behind a tree. The light coming from the conservatory below kept me awake. Yes great setting and quiet and nice serving staff. Plenty of space in room.

Went with friends for Afternoon Tea, beautiful setting, although the decor is a little tired in the dining room. The tea itself was very good, very light scones, carrot cake. Apple creme brûlée was very nice. Sandwiches - a very good selection along with unlimited tea and coffee all for £12.95 a head. I would strongly recommend this place for...

Well received by welcoming reception staff, led into very pleasant dining room with many tables set ready. Lead to our reserved table with nice views, through large windows, of the rear garden. Drinks came quickly with menu. Fair celection of choices for set 3...

My friend and I booked an overnight stay with cream tea with Wowcher. We arrived on Easter Sunday and were given a pleasant twin bedded room with a huge bathroom. The heating was on and couldn't be regulated so we opened the windows. There was a plentiful hostess tray and nice products in the bathroom. Our cream tea was delicious,...

Dovecliff Hall hotel is looking a bit tired. The room we had (No. 3 - a superior room according to Booking.com) was OK and clean enough, unless you looked a bit further at the nooks and crannies. The biggest problem was the carpet which, although not looking very old, was stained and dirty - really not good enough. The bed...

This really is a gem. The setting is lovely and the hotel itself is very warm and welcoming. The room I had was off the back overlooking the countryside with a river and waterfalls to add a wonderful symphony of sound to my slumber. The staff are friendly and attentive. They offer evening meals, have a nice bar and breakfast...

We had our wedding at Dovecliff Hall on 18th March. We cannot thank Ian and all of the Dovecliff staff enough; they did any amazing job. The wedding reception ran so smoothly and the food was fantastic. The day was just perfect and went above and beyond are expectations. Thank you so much, Beth and Dave.
