We stayed in cottage 1 recently. The surroundings were perfect. Lovely views of the countryside, a small play area and sheep and chickens on the doorstep. Felt very welcome on arrival. Cottage was nice. Quite a few spiders and flies inside but that's to be expected in the countryside! Very close to Alton Towers so suited us well.

Booked here as it was so close to Alton Towers where we were visiting on one day of our stay. We were camping with electric hook up. It's a quiet site with very generous sized pitches - if using electric hook up you will need a long cable but an extension can be borrowed from the site owners - in...

What a lucky find this was. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was lovely. The owners had thought of everything, even a pint of milk in the fridge. It is in a lovely position with beautiful views and only a 5 minute drive from Alton Towers. It is well equipped. The beds are very comfy. The campsite...

Myself and a friend stayed here as we where visiting Alton Towers. for any thrill seeker, its only 5 minuets drive from the site to the theme park . When we arrived we were welcomed with our information park, the gentleman gave a quick tour and explained about where to get information. The site has around 5 green pitches and...

This has to be one of the best sites we have stayed on in over 10 years of camping and caravanning. The site is very well kept, the showers and toilets immaculately clean, tidy and warm. It is very quiet, the only noise we heard was from the cows in the neighbouring field! The site itself is located only 2 miles...

Just back from a stay at Lower Micklin Farm for Alton Towers - Scarefest. Came across the cottages when hunting for some accommodation near Alton Towers and most definitely was not disappointed. For the size of the accommodation the price was incredibly reasonable and to be honest at that price we were not expecting what greeted us. The owners are...

We could only find good reviews of this site so we booked without delay and agreed it was excellent. Facilities and location superb (only 2.3m to Alton Towers) with the added bonus of friendly owners and a magnificent view too. You don't need to shell out on fancy sites or hotels when you're there for the theme park - you...
