We were debating staying in the Alton Towers Hotel but I am so glad we chose here instead! The room was lovely and clean and we were made to feel at home. On top of that, the breakfast was excellent! With it only being a short walk across a field to Alton Towers, it was perfect. We would recommend Chained...

We were lucky enough to get a last minute cancellation and so glad we did. Stayed here night before visit to Alton Towers and location couldn't have been better. Received a very warm welcome from owner who showed us to our lovely family room, consisting of double bed, bunks and travel cot at end of stable block, with views out...

We stayed in the family suite which was very clean, very spacious and had its own front patio area. Our girls loved the visit of Ronnie the Rooster. Liz was very welcoming and did a great breakfast! We ordered an Indian takeaway from Paprika for tea which was very tasty. The girls loved the trampoline and swing almost as much as...

We stayed here at the tail end of last week and would so so again. We pitched up around 9-10am, left our car at the B&B and walked to Alton Towers. The owners are always happy for you to leave your car there in the morning even though you wouldn't be officially checking in until later in the day. It...

We have stayed in a number of B & B's close to Alton Towers and Chained Oak is by far our favourite! Its just a few minutes drive from Alton Towers which is great - particularly if you are planning an early start for Alton Towers the following day. Liz is very welcoming and the dining room is in a...

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of days in July this year and last. We stayed again this year because the location is perfect for Alton towers. The room is spacious and comfortable. The shower is fantastic and powerful (can't stand drizzle showers). Liz is always very welcoming and has a chat when passing by. The chained...

We've stayed here before for a visit to Alton Towers, and this was our 2nd overnight stay. Again checkin was easy, shown to our room, was very clean, bright and airy with good view of the duck pond, and the grounds. Information in the room was well received. Short distance to the towers, again easy enough, took the stress out...

We received a very warm welcome from Liz, didn't even need to introduce ourselves as she knew to expect our group. Nice clean room with a great shower in the bathroom and full size bunkbeds (as well as a double bed) so it was suitable for three adults. Liz cooked a great English breakfast and we helped ourselves to toast...

This is a really lovely place to stay. The rooms appear to be inspired by the 'country farm house' look, which makes them really attractive. They are exceptionally clean. We didn't travel with young children, but you can tell that the owners have put alot of thought into making this place attractive to families, without making it uncomfortable for couples....
