To be fair we only used the Alton Bridge Hotel as a place to eat and drink one very cold evening at the begining of December 2016. However, the small bar served some decent cask ales and at a price that was most acceptable - why is the South so much more pricey? Our three course meal had a modern...

Lovely hotel in peaceful countryside. The decor in the main restaurant and bedrooms is gorgeous and quirky. The food portions were very generous, tasty and well presented. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. No complaints 😊

My wife Barbara and I attended a birthday celebration catered for and held in the grounds of the hotel. Stayed there for the night too. All excellent, Sandra is a hard working hostess and runs a good set up. Philip Harrison

Stayed here for six nights while on business in the area. Fabulous rooms, beautifully fitted out by an owner with a great sense of style and excellent taste. Beds are wonderfully comfortable, Blaupunkt TV, each room with individual flair and too notch bathrooms. Some rooms are over the bar so may not suit those with small children but have stunning...

It was my birthday so we were looking for somewhere special to stay after spending 2 days at Alton towers. This place did not disappoint!!! It cost a little more to stay here than one of Alton towers recommended short break hotels, but it was definitely worth it. The hotel is about 3 minute drive to Alton towers, perfect location,...

The bar had a lovely atmosphere and the food looked great (we were eating at an event so couldn't sample!). The bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfy. The fixtures and fittings are all high quality which makes a...

The food and drink are great and fairly priced. The staff is fantastic. If you want to spend some time in the English country side, this is the place to go. You will love...

Our family wedding reception took place in the marquee which was dressed beautifully, the food, service ,staff attitude and attention to detail was excellent. Family from America stayed for an extended period in the accommodation at the bridge and couldn't speak highly enough of their stay. The setting was perfect and a wonderful day and evening was had by all...

We stayed at Alton Bridge Hotel for 3 nights in a family room, which is a double and a bunk room, 2 adults and 2 x 13 year old boys. Accommodation was fabulously clean and very comfortable - nice bathroom, fluffy towels etc... We were visiting Alton Towers for a couple of days and then Splash Landings on the way...

Visited with a local art group to take in the setting and do some painting in the garden while enjoying lunch from the pub. It was a glorious day to be outside and the gardens are beautiful with lots of plants, the river, beach bar with sandpit, and great views of the bridge and Castle. Very chilled and relaxing with...
