Spent New Years Eve with a delicious 7 course dinner and stayed overnight in a beautiful room. Tastefully decorated with attention to detail as is the restaurant and the cosy Talbot Inn next door. The bed was excellent with quality bedding. Lovely well equipped bathroom. Really

Called in for an early evening dinner, staff could not be more welcoming. Food was plentiful and beautifully cooked. All appeared to be home made, fabulously presented. Definitely a place we will be returning to. Highly recommended.

It is a fair walk from Alton Towers only because of the layout of the Resort as the hotels etc are to the rear of the resort. Alton. Ridge is very worth a taxi ride as only takes about 10 maybe less minutes in the car. The owner Sandra is superb the foot is 10/10 but maybe book first go early sit by the river with a drink and now the Talbot which is a quaint pub next to Alton bridge is open it’s the must place to eat in the area. We love it there.

Is it necessary to book for a party of 12?
12 ? Yes agree that you should book. The only other pub nearby was being renovated at the time we visited.
