Rooms are a good size and breakfast was good but there was quite a bit of dust and rooms were just too dark! More than 2 plugs in a quadruple room would also be helpful. The bar area was full of empty glasses but it wasn't even busy. In the state room for a function and they had no champagne...

Always have a great stay when staying at the hotel. Staff are friendly from check in, The rooms are nice and big but I think some are looking tired and could do with a lick of paint. Perfect postioned to the park itself.

A great break, a full on two days! Arrived at 10am on the 1st January, visited CBeebies land and all other open rides and 4d cinema until 3pm. Then checked into the moon lander room, which was great, a little private area for children, very fresh looking, clean and comfy bed. Onto the rollercoaster restaurant, that's a bit of a...

Went for a short overnight festive break - one day in the park, and one day in Splash Landings and then a night in the hotel. Hotel couldn't be faulted, good rooms, great breaksfast although bars and restaurants expensive. Park was great for the kids as there were no queues, but Splash Landings was really busy. Kids really enjoyed it...

This was our first trip to Alton towers hotel with our daughter. There were plenty of positives, however there were a few negatives which is such a shame. On a positive note check in was quick and hassle free (drop off bag service was brilliant) our room was ready for when we got back from the park which was a...

We just loved every second! It was our first Santa Sleepover experience and although I'd seen majority great reviews for previous years, we still didn't know what to expect. Check in let it down ever so slightly, it states 3pm however our room wasn't ready until 3.30pm and our meal was booked at 4.45pm so we felt slightly rushed. Our...

I enjoyed the santa sleepover (well my son did age 4!!) but i did leave feeling a little disappointed and I cant say that i thought it was worth the high cost to be honest. Arrival was a bit chaotic as there were no signs of where to go (i had been told on the phone prior to arrival that...
