We have just returned from a family one night stay at the Splash Landings Hotel at Alton Towers. It is a fantastic place for children, with lots to do and see. The swimming park is absolutely brilliant and we all had a great time. There’s something for everyone in the water

What a welcoming bunch of staff on arrival. So happy and helpful ( an absolute credit to the hotel). The room was clean and fresh with comfortable beds, clean and tidy bathrooms with great towels! Great location for pool access. Will be back!

Brilliant for families, hotel dated but clean. We definitely recommend splash landings for families with young children. The price is average for the theme park and hotel plus a free day at the water park. The food isn’t brilliant but plenty of choice. We will return hopefully

Brilliant hotel, quick check-in, plenty of food options. Loads of entertainment after the park closes to keep wee one busy. 2 minute walk to the train to take you to the park. Parking is abit of a nightmare, peak time but we moved closer to the hotel after the park closed.

Wow... I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We visited for the Santa sleepover as a family with our 6 year old twin boys. It was so magical from the moment we arrived and was greeted by the happy elf. The Santa and his fairies were amazing and fantastic singers.

Hi Lorraine, the waterpark is suitable for toddlers. We are currently offering a Parent and Toddler ticket on select dates. It grants entry for just £7 per adult and toddlers go FREE! (Under 3's) The Parent and Toddler offer allows access to the Little Leak, Lagoona Bay and our Wacky Waterworks - a tree house with over 70 wild and watery features. There is also free car parking and baby changing facilities available on site. Please see our website for further information.

Unless you have a hotel booking which says the Waterpark is included free of charge (you still have to click to add it as an extra to your booking) then there is an additional charge. It’s advisable to book online in advance as there are strict number limits so it sells out on a regular basis. If you have a Merlin Annual Pass then you still have to pay but at a discounted rate which again can be booked online through the Alton Towers site. You have to give the membership numbers and take cards with you when you go
