A group of four of us went to Ston Easton for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday as we had heard great things about the venue - which was indeed very impressive particularly on a sunny afternoon. We went for the traditional tea, at a very typical price of just under £20 a head. It took rather a long time... More

Despite poor weather, or even because of it, the one night stay we had here was a very enjoyable and welcome interlude. We had a warm welcome from staff who were attentive to the point of ensuring that our room lights were switched on and blinds drawn even while we were at dinner, making our room a cosy and welcoming... Dinner was stunning, nigh on the best resturant food I've ever had. Unfortunately breakfast wasn't very good, the room we had (Pink) smelt a bit like a wet dog, had cobwebs on the ceiling and window, peeling wall paper and a bathroom door so short I hit my head several times (I bent down after the first time!). The bed... More

A frosty welcome made an uncomfortable start to the stay. I don't understand why people have these businesses then look put out when people arrive. Once checked in there was no kettle/drinks making facility and the as advertised WIFI was as none existent. Upon realising none of the radiators were working, enough was enough and a trip back to reception... More

We spent our 'Simply Sunday' break at this lovely hotel set In beautiful landscaped grounds. We wanted something different for our weekend break and chose this special offer which started with afternoon tea in the drawing room. Our evening meal was delicious and well served by the staff of the hotel who were most helpful and understanding as both my... More

We have just returned from celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary at Ston Easton Park, where we received what felt like special treatment to help us enjoy this very important occasion. With a free upgrade to Repton, a large room with views across the river and the fields at the back of the hotel, a 'Happy Anniversary' message piped in chocolate... More

I booked Ston Easton Park for a special meal and overnight stay on the recommendation of a friend and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. I didn't expect it to be so utterly charming and welcoming. So many hotels have become corporate, Ston Easton is the opposite of corporate, it is like staying in a rather grand country house, belonging... More

Visited with a group of girlfriends for my birthday on a sunny but fresh Saturday afternoon. Really impressed with the good, efficient service and yummy bottle of Viognier. Beautiful hotel in really lovely surroundings. Would definitely return.

I really should not write this review as people may want to go and visit this perfect holiday experience. The chef deserves a Michelin star, the service is fabulous Andr ou can imagined you are the stars in Downton The bedrooms are sheer old fashioned luxury with space and grace. Best however are the gardens which are being restored by... More
