My wife and I stayed in this wonderful homely B and B for three nights, first impression was wow, the room was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated as was the rest of the B and B, the attention to detail is what makes this B and B stand out from the usual, we felt very much at home and... My husband and I stayed at the Hurlestone 5th and 6th December and had a very comfortable stay. There are just 3 B&B rooms, our good size room had a large comfy double bed, fireplace, en suite, very clean, modern plain decor, good views of countryside. Pleasant breakfast room, everything looks clean and freshly decorated, full english breakfast very nice.... More

My husband and I were in Porlock recently for a funeral. We traveled down with our two little dogs and found this little B&B on Tripadvisor. We were hoping to get there a bit before usual check in time in order to change for the funeral. We were told, "No problem, we could arrive anytime we liked." We originally planned... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, the service was impeccable, breakfast was really good and the room was a really good size. It was nicely decorated and kept clean. The owners were lovely and endeavoured to accommodate our every need. The bed was the best bed ever, so comfortable and spacious! I slept like a baby both nights! Should I... More

Smallish room but not tiny with a comfy bed. Good communications after booking. Very nice breakfast. About half a mile from the South West Coast Path so a convenient location if you have a short first day from Minehead.

We loved our one night stay at Hurlestone B&B. Our room was scrupulously clean and well equipped...we even had fresh milk in our fridge for tea and coffee! The breakfast was great, Dorset cereals were on offer and the fry up you would kill for! Best bacon I have had. Emma and Mark were very friendly and informative and we... More

We stayed here for one night during a week on the South West coastal path, really couldn't fault this B and B. Warm welcome, really nice room, we went for the slightly bigger room which was first class. Breakfast was quality too. Would definitely return.

My partner and I spent our one year anniversary at Hurlestone B&B and could not have been happier with our stay. The superior double room was ver spacious and bright. The full English breakfast was excellent. Emma the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend Hurlestone to anyone and Porlock as a base to explore Exmoor!
