We visited twice when we were staying in the area. On both occasions the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were impressed with the menu choices in particular the generous portion of homemade lasagne was divine with a good sized salad and garlic bread. Drinks were reasonably priced and the food was served quickly. Our dog was also made welcome....

Decided to try the Plough for our evening meal and were not disappointed. There was a wide choice and my husband chose curry whilst I opted for the chilli. Both meals were plentiful and enjoyable. Price for the meals was average at £8 to £10 for main course. We then decided to go again but only wanted something light and...

Had a meal here after walk up the quantocks. Ordered the steak and my Mrs had a jacket potato. My steak was fresh, amazing value for money and cooked exactly how I asked it to be (blue). My gf was a bit disappointed with the veggie options but she is also a fussy eater. All in all; it is a...

A drink and lunch both arrived quickly, I had been walking and needed them both. Plenty of people enjoying the food, with their dogs and staff to help, with a tidy little garden to stretch out in. My salad was simple but fresh and good to eat and a reasonable price.

Just returned from a visit to Kilve beach. Decided to try The Plough for some food on the way home. The staff were very welcoming and there was a good selection of meals on the menu. Our meals came very quickly and were very good. If we lived nearer we could quite easily make this our local as it has...

We visited the Plough whilst staying in Holford. We were welcomed as dog owners by dogs and then the staff. We were made to feel immediatly at ease. The service was excellent, even though it was our waitresses first night. The food was nice. The overall atmosphere was very friendly, family oriented, touristy, whilst not afraid to cater for local...

Called in here with friends as we were passing, thought we would have a quick pub meal. All of our food was very good, tasty, good portions and hot, the service was good too. The pub was getting ready for a Halloween evening and even the decorations were good! We were all very pleasantly surprised.

On our way to Kilve Beach we stumbled upon this gem. Fine ales. Gorgeous beer garden. We didn't have time to eat and weren't stopping over night so im unable to comment on these matters that may concern others. For us though, it was Fabulous!! Have marked on google maps for a re-visit some day soon.

Stayed in Holford for the weekend about a 10 minute walk from the Plough Inn. Checked the reviews on Tripadviser before going and thought we'd give it ago. Good food and a very welcoming and friendly landlord. Made you feel like you'd been going to the pub for years. Decided to return the next evening to watch the England/Italy game....
