I booked this location because my wife and I were visiting Bath. The photos on the website looked gorgeous, great quiet location etc. Upon arrival There was a pleasant welcoming by Sam. As we walked in front door the smell of cooking fat hits you straight away. A big turn off. He showed us around and then to our room....

Very nice place, quiet, rural and in easy reach of things to see and do. We didn't have time but looks like there would be some nice country walks. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, with suggestions of places to eat, there are more in the information folder in the room. Our room was lovely and kept warm as it was...

We stayed here because we were attending a wedding close by on New Years Eve. The location is wonderfully rural, surrounded by lots of beautiful countryside. We weren't disappointed not to have a room in the main house as we had a courtyard room....New looking but in keeping with the house, barn rooms with high sloped ceilings, wooden beams, lovely...

Just a one-night getaway whilst the kids stayed at grandmas; Nice, rural village location with easy access to Frome & Longleat. Arrived to a very warm welcome from Sam who showed us to our room and made sure that we were comfortable with everything. Sam was happy to make recommendations for local places to eat that evening and helpful with...

We stayed here for two nights for a friend's wedding. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and the shared areas very good. Breakfast is in the conservatory, which is lovely. In warmer weather, I imagine sitting outside could be an attractive option. Breakfast was huge, and good effort made for dietary requests; one veggie and a gluten free were accommodated without...

As previous reviews say, this is a perfect location for longleat, with beautiful gardens, friendly service and very tasty breakfast. An extremely very well organised business. However our room was located in the converted stable block, I did ask for ground floor due to mobility restrictions, but access through the front door is via gravel drive, no good for crutches...

The location is excellent with good access to various places to visit and local pubs/eateries. The staff are all very pleasant and breakfasts are superb. The site is lovely, with sheep, horses and a lovely garden. The reception rooms look comfy and homely. The bed we had was comfy but the room we had was very basic and not finished...

We stayed here on a weekend to celebrate my 30th birthday. My girlfriend and I throughly enjoyed our stay. Sam was very welcoming when we first arrived and offered excellent advise on where to eat. The room we had was of an outstanding quality, especially the bathroom with a lovely standalone bath. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the...

I want to add my comments to the review which follows referring to my Big Birthday weekend at Knoll Hill Farm. Everything my sister says is true - the welcome we received, the delicious breakfasts, the pleasure of having so many of my family and friends around me, all were part of a really lovely weekend. Sam was so helpful...
