Just had two nights in Middle Earth, what a perfect place to stay. Wonderful quiet location and Middle Earth a perfect place for us two and our little dog, very warm and cosy with lots of nice touches to mention here. John was extremely helpful pointing us to a lovely dog friendly pub. Cannot wait to go back it's ideal...

We have just spent a few days in the Potting Shed Cottage. Lovely quaint little cottage ideal for two. The cottage is in a lovely location good for visiting Wells and the surrounding area. The cottage is well equipped and warm and cosy, nice gardens although the weather was not suitable for sitting outside when we visited, but it does...

John was very welcoming to us. The spot was very good - I liked the peacocks and collection of birds. However, the whole place does need a good trim / touch of tree surgery - it's getting a touch overgrown. We stayed in Middle Earth. Really smart cottage-like shed! - decor was fab, and very clean inside. Everything was provided....

Those guests were very nice indeed and I thank them for their comments. We are never too old to learn. On arrival I ask all guests to be honest with me and if they find any thing wrong to tell me and I will put it right as soon and as best we can. Twice I had a conversation with...

Came here for 2 nights over the weekend to the Middle Earth Cottage with boyfriend (we are in our mid 20's) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! The cottage was so quirky and cosy with unusual and fun furnishings! We used the hot tub at both the night time and day which is in it's own enclosure amoungst the pretty gardens...

Spider's End cottage was lovely (fortunately no spiders!), clean, nicely furnished, comfortable, and welcoming. The gardens are beautiful, as are the peacocks, and the hot tub was great! We arrived early but were made very welcome, and as the cleaning was completed, we moved straight in ! John was very kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Situated between...

We stayed here in September for 2 nights as part of a Groupon offer. Upon arriving there was no-one to meet us, no message saying how we get into Spiders End Cottage and upon ringing the house phone - no answer. Luckily there was another couple on site who advised us as to where they found their key. Once we...

The cottage was just supereb and we was greeted by the owner who was so welcoming. The place is well equipped and just simply brilliant. The gardens are beautiful and there is the use of the awesome hot tub. Great base for visiting nearby places and attractions. Fully recommend staying here.

Lovely cottage, lovely gardens and position in Somerset. Peacocks were stunning. Quirky garden ornaments added to the homely feel. Would have liked to have stayed for longer. John was most welcoming which added to our comfort.

We stayed for 4nights with our dog, we loved it.... it's in a great location. It's a little tricky to find but it's everything the first time your going somewhere new? The cottage is cozy and has everything you need. We enjoyed seeing the peacocks and duck and the lovely cat daily and used the spa!! John was lovely and...

We Loved this place, no internet, no phone signal which means you actually have to go back to basics and actually talk to your family. The accommodation was amazing, spacious and really has character. John is an amazing host, we shared a glass of wine with him one evening and he's some amazing stories to share. Highly recommended.
