I visited this pub last year while visiting the area. The gammon that I had was delicious! It had a very nice range of beers and ciders to choose from. In addition it had a large beer garden with a kids play area and plenty of benches!

After a dog walk in the woods above the pub, we called in for a meal - we eat and drink here regularly but have never tried the Sunday roast. It was utterly delicious and extremely good value at only 7.95 - there were 3 meats on offer - beef, gammon and turkey - we both had some of each...

After a long walk I was more than ready for my 'Hearty Beef Stew' sadly what I was dished up bore no resemblance to the title of this meal! The menu description stated ' tender pieces of British beef with diced potato, swede & carrots in a rich gravy served with ciabatta bread' I was served some chewy beef swimming...

My wife and I popped in for an evening meal just before Christmas, and everything was fine, but nothing more that that. We had a chicken starter to share, ham, egg n' chips and fish n' chips. The service was friendly and prompt, and portions were generous with OK quality. Washed down with a large glass of white wine and...

Nice lunch, ruined by the roast potatoes tasting heavily of fish. Maybe try cooking them in fresh oil. Beef was tasty, veg was OK, onion gravy lovely. Shame the potatoes ruined it. Book though, as gets busy.

Happened to be in the area touring National Trust properties (Clevedon Court) & wanted lunch - the Sunday Carvery was excellent. Beef, Gammon & pork & crackling to choose from. Cauli cheese, stuffing, roast potatoes, carrots, peas, cheesy leeks, swede, choice of plain gravy or onion gravy. Thoroughly enjoyable & friendly staff - defo call again!

Pubs is OK, quite busy on a Friday night, wouldnt rush back any time soon, drinks a bit pricey... more of a locals pub than any passing trade. Garden is a good size, good for summer evenings with kids play area too

I drive past this place constantly but had never actually ventured in,but last Saturday a group of buddies and I spent a pleasant couple of hours sat in their garden. We didn't eat on this occasion ,but do intend to partake of their Sunday Lunch which has good comments from people I know. I must say that the girl that...

Made very welcome by a young lady behind the bar, very welcoming. We had our dog with us but it was not a problem. The pub is a little tired but it has atmosphere. We had a meal that was typical pub food but no complaints.

Visited The Old Inn on Saturday for the third time in seven weeks. Each time it has been for food. The Old Inn offers a lovely, warm, friendly welcome with a good range of real ales and a weekly guest ale. The food on offer is the usual pub menu. Having said that, the quality of the food is very...
