We stayed here on our journey to Cornwall and what a fantastic choice we made. The pictures on the Web only show part of this lovely B&B. The place was fully booked and we stayed upstairs in a lovingly restored barn house room with views over the garden and pond. We could hear the sound of the water in the... More

Gurney Manor Mill is a haven of peace and rural bliss. Be prepared for the WOW factor when you go into the dining room for an excellent breakfast. You are dining in a beautifully restored barn which dates from the 1500's. Words can not do justice to the delight of staying here. Our only regret is that we were there... More

Fantastic b and b. Wonderful peaceful setting, converted water mill barn. Lovely hosts, great breakfast in great dining room. We would choose to stay here again if we were in the area. Local pub does good food and is 5-10 mins easy walk away. Big room with large ensuite. You wont regret staying here--but you might if you don't.

This was one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed at: the rooms were furnished with such care and attention ti detail. The surroundings were also charming, with fields all around, a nice garden and only a short walk to the village of Cannington.

We were over from Australia and stayed a week with Bill and Pauline. Gurney Manor Mill has been lovingly restored and is situated in the beautiful Somerset countryside near the little village of Cannington. Pauline's breakfasts are mouth watering and she and Bill couldn't have made us feel more welcome and at home. We will definitely stay there when we... More

Had one night here and it wasn't enough. Lovely warm welcome from Pauline and bill, very homely feeling. Great to wake up to the sound of the water, breakfast was cooked to perfection and served in a magnificent room. Will defiantly be returning, a must do in a beautiful part of the world. Thank you.

Have stayed here many times, business and pleasure, always excellent. Probably the best B&B I have stayed in in the UK. Pauline and Bill are wonderful, the buildings and rooms are beautifully created and restored - a real labour of love from both of them, having been almost ruins not long ago. Very good breakfasts in the main hall, from... More

Thank you Bill & Pauline for a lovely welcome and stay. Very friendly and informative. This was extended throughout the small village of Cannington. The mill is in such a picturesque spot, it took our breath away. Rooms are a superb standard. We will be back, along with our little daughter. The breakfast is to die for !!!!!! Thanks both... More

Stayed in the 3 bed converted coach house with 2 friend for a weekend break. It is gorgeous with top quality fittings, gorgeous bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and immaculate and fun bathrooms, each with whirlpool bath or hydrotherapy shower. Really peaceful location and the owner was lovely. Great outside patio. We loved it!

Stayed for one night using a "unique places to stay" voucher given to us as a wedding anniversary present, from the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed by Pauline who spent time talking to us explaining everything in the surrounding area. The room was beautifully decorated with a very spacious bathroom, the breakfast was excellent in a dining room... More
