My sister and I said that we would treat the kids to a pub lunch after a long cycle ride.. We had been cycling for well over 2.5 hours and my youngest is five, so when we saw the boat an anchor pub the kids were very excited.. The boys ran in through an OPEN door to the pub, to...

Stated to look for places to stop that are just off the motorway network have seen this one many times - well worth the stop food freshly cooked And a relaxed atmosphere to break up the journey now in the SatNav for future trips. Nice little walks along the camel to stretch your legs

After a walk along the canal this looks and excellent place to stop but they definitely are not a dog friendly pub. We were told we could not sit in the garden with the dogs and had to go to another area, which was just a rought pice of ground with some tables and benches and builders fencing. No view...

The adverts look like it could actually be a very nice place to stay. It's okay, but certainly nothing special. Beers not great. Food menu looks really good, but in actual fact it's far from it. Very very average or below food. Homemade burger and chips was pretty poor to say at the least. Chips partially cooked and greasy. Burger...

We had a room in the main building and the young lady carried the case up the stairs. The room was clean the bathroom refurbished with a great walk in shower. Our meal in the restaurant was freshly cooked and well presented and the breakfast set us up for the day. The staff were all pleasant and helpful.

I have to say when looking across from the road we initially though 'oh' from the painted B&B on the roof. However on arrival we realised what a lovely waterside location this place was, with a large car park and very traditional British pub area that you walk into. The bar staff then also check you in which is very...

Room was very clean, bed comfy, nice walk in shower, friendly staff. Great choice of food and very tasty and good value for money. Bar excellent. Ideal for runners, with the canal track alongside. Herons and wildlife along the canal.

I needed to find a convenient meeting place on M5 between Bristol and Exeter - this seemed to fit the bill but I was confused by the range of reviews. However I decided it was worth a shot and came to the firm conclusion it was ...average. It was clean, the staff were very hospitable, the beer was okay, my...

Was a great stay here, food is lovely and staff look after you. Staying next to the motorway and rail way lines was a bit of an issue for sleeping. But by the end is was no bother. Over all me and my fellow colleagues loved our time here. All 7 of us :)

Service OK, food average pub grub. Surroundings quite pleasant.it was worth leaving the motorway, but only just. If you're going to take the trouble to leave the motorway it's worth looking a bit further.
