We've just come home after staying 2 nights at this Hotel. It is a bit dated but we like this type of Hotel, also we paid only a little bit extra for a 4 poster room (no.26) which was quiet and looks over the garden and we could open the windows (although side window isn't a great view). It is...

We stayed here at the end of June & used a Buyagift voucher for a one night stay. First impressions are great, friendly reception staff. The hotel is dated but is clean any tidy. We went to our room and it was a little bit disappointing. Mainly as there was no bath and the bed was not cosy or relaxing...

Arrived at what seemed a beautiful hotel...checked in and the warning signs were there...all run down and shabby!! Got to my room and it smelt of damp and mold and it was very run down. Tried to open the window, which wouldn't stay open. A man was sent to my room to spray it to get rid of the damp...

Good friendly staff, hotel dated and missing atmosphere, furnishings very old but lacks character. Food was classical and a little expensive for what it was but tasty enough. Pool was away from the main building, it was decent enough and gym was nice. Rooms have indifferent wifi so had to be moved, what I will say for the price, £75...

Do you like queueing at the local carvery? If you do then keep going and read no further. If however you fancy something a little different for Sunday lunch then read on. £12.50 got the two of us a whole roast chicken, pigs in blankets and more veg than we could even think about eating. What's more it was gorgeous....proper...

We had booked into another hotel but on the afternoon of our visit I received a call to say they had a problem but not to worry they had put us in this hotel nearby, equally as good but with a generous discount. We were put into room 17 which turned out to be a miserable little room without so...

We had the four poster room. Extremely spacious. Watched on of the England matches and we won! Bedrooms are spotless as you would expect. The ladies had a massage and the gentlemen played Foot Golf on their course. Breakfast was first class I would highly recommend
