We stayed at the Crown Inn for three nights in a king size bed which was very comfortable. We also ate there every night as the food was really good and reasonable if you choose from the early bird menu from 5 - 7.30. This was £12.95 for 2 courses and £16.95 for 3 courses. Of special note was George...

When we arrived at this 16th century coach house we were greeted enthusiastically by George and immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. I've read remarks about the hotel needs updating etc but my friend and I both agreed it's a old building and it's got character which is the whole point and it would be such a shame to loose if...

Stayed here with friends for 2 nights whilst I will give the staff 5 out of 5 for attentiveness and friendliness sadly can't say the same of the accommodation - the bedrooms are in desperate need of some upgrading - the furnishings are old and I don't meen antique just old fashioned, the beds not particularly comfortable, and deep cleaning...

We recently had a two night stay at the crown. If your looking for real Peace and quiet you'll get it there, it's in the middle of no where! The staff are very efficient and welcoming and food is good. Although no vegetarian sausages available at breakfast. However the rooms are a let down. As I've discovered with the daily...

Reasonable price for this deal, food was good pub grub and the staff were friendly, helpful and polite (apart from calling us "you guys" !). Room 10 ok except for tiny window and absurdly low lighting which made it impossible to read anything like a book or newspaper. A torch would have been handy! Probably wouldn't return here.

Two night stay on a woucher deal, we found the staff very capable and helpful, service from the kitchen was first class, the three people front of house were friendly, fast and efficient. Food quality very good. This is a 16th century coaching inn so don't expect Holiday Inn accommodation standards, it's far better than that in character and charm!...

The best thing about our three night stay was the staff, service with a smile nothing to much trouble. Food was also good and pub had a nice feel with open fire and log burner. The place could do with a bit of a make over but overall enjoyed our stay and would return in the future

Our first Wowcher experience, £99 for two nights B&B and 3 course dinner first night. The accommodation is very good, a 16th Century Coach House. Yes if we wanted could pick a couple on minor faults with the room but hey that would be "nit picking" given the cost of the break. The food was excellent and we ended up...
