We stayed here for 2 nights whilst going to the Gold Cup. When we arrived there was no record of our booking! We showed the confirmation email and luckily there was a room! The room was spacious but a little tired, the bathroom could do with a refurb and the mattress needs to be renewed (unless you like springs in...

A beautiful B&B, conveniently located on the outskirts of the Cotswolds. Great value for money offering comfortable rooms, free wifi, great breakfast and a good choice of food for lunch or dinner. Staff are very friendly and helpful feeling you welcomed and well looked after. Family rooms are huge, but could use some tlc and modernisation.

Knowing The Bird in Hand is very popular we rang at 730pm on Saturday on the off chance that they had a table and were told they were fully booked. After some creative pleading from us they did offer a table in the breakfast room which we accepted with gratitude but a little trepidation. But we needn't have worried, on...

This venue was selected by my son to celebrate his 36th birthday and he booked it for 13.00. We arrived on time and our table was ready and set up for us. We all chose starters with two people sharing the Camembert to share. As far as I am aware all found them satisfactory. My wood pigeon consisted of three...

This is a beautiful iconic cotswold stone building and traditional hostelry. It was updated some years ago and has never quite regained its ambiance. It feels flat. The food is ok and probably slightly above your average pub fare. The service is pleasant and they are clearly trying to make a mark but currently it does not compare well with...

Enjoyed a family lunch here. Friendly staff. Nice menu. Burgers were very good. Also had fish & chips, fish slightly overdone, would have liked it to be a bit more soft & golden. Would go again as had a good menu Seating nicely laid out, plenty of space between tables

We stayed the night in the family room which was a large sized room with a double and a single bed and was very comfortable. There was also a sofa bed and a food up bed in the wardrobe if needed. We had dinner on Saturday night in the pub which was delicious, fairly priced and good portion sizes. The...
