We stayed here over 2 years ago and said we'd never stay again. My husband booked this without realising it was the same place! Anyway, when we realised, we decided to give it a second chance. It is still VERY dated, old fashioned and in...More
Great place to stay. Convenient if driving. Pool and sauna were clean and well kept , a great extra. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant menu somewhat limited. Breakfast buffet was good.

Witney isn't the best place for Oxford access. Pear tree park and ride is most likely same hassle and time as the bus from Witney itself but there are other places to visit if you take the car. I parked at parkway park and ride, you can get the bus or the train from there. If you want to do the Oxford bus tour, the bus stop start is right outside the train station. Or for park and ride bus, ask driver where to get on. Train is best in my opinion
