From my second visit to Charney Manor I would like to add there has been a change of chef, the food is excellent (provided vegetarian and vegan) and the staff are very helpful with any needs. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Had time to visit grounds which are beautiful and well kept.

Burned out, depressed and feeling dismal I found this place and booked immediately, left half an hour later and arrived to check in at 14.00. I was instantly enveloped by the warmth, peace and beauty of the manor and the grounds. Yes,it's old and my room (19) was dark, basic and had a squeaky bed and floorboards but at £55 a...

The outside looks lovely and the grounds are very well presented. However our bathroom was awash with ants and was very basic. The wifi didn't work neither did the TV in the television room! Breakfast in the morning offered a range of toast and fruit, however the yogurt was mouldy, clearly they bring the same ones out each day.

The surroundings were tranquil, with lovely gardens to the Manor, and the reception staff were both pleasant and welcoming. However, the "private bathroom" to our double room consisted of a sink under the window, a mirror with shaving point in a dark corner and a shower cubicle and toilet in a partitioned area in a corner of the room. There...

Beautiful Manor House. Very tranquil with exquisite Spring garden. Our room was in the annexe and was fine .A no frills room but clean and warm. Maybe an upgrade of slightly newer duvet covers would be a suggestion. Breakfast in the main house in the ancient Dining Room was quite lovely and we enjoyed the various fruits yohurts and crumpets...

A real find. I had room 2 in the Manor House overlooking the lovely gardens. The furnishings were simple but the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast includes a big selection of fruit including prunes, apricots, grapefruit plus natural yoghourt, cereals, toast and fresh coffee. Pub serving good food only a couple of minutes away. Very friendly and helpful staff,...

Second time here. Had a lovely warm welcome from the reception staff and was showed up to my room - a lovely large comfortable (and hot!) room with a view of the old front door. This is an old manor house (updated as necessary for use today!) with various meeting rooms to meet needs. It is in a rural location, so pleasant walks around, away from traffic. The accommodation is good, some rooms a bit small, bathrooms (ensuite).provide basic. Staff are welcoming and helpful . They provide for different diets - I have to say...
