Invited to a Christening, I had worries of where I would stay, but Millie answered that call to cool down my nerves. On arrival I was greeted with with a warm smile, this was the beginning of a great experience. Taken to room number 1 through the tranquil garden, things got better. I entered into a spacious room, and was...

Myself and my husband stayed at the Regis for the nights of the 31st Dec & 1st of Jan 15. With a family party planned locally and with a full house (no spare beds) we chose the Regis based on B&B availability close to where we needed to be. SO glad we chose to stay here, the rooms, attention to...

We have just come back from a weekend of walking the ridgeway and spent a very pleasant night at the Regis. We arrived early sat and they were happy for us to leave our car there and drive us to our starting point and pick us up at the end. As they don't normally serve dinner at the weekend they...

I stayed here for 3 nights when down on work in Wantage. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. Bonus points to the chickens who supplied the eggs for breakfast. They were very friendly and made the stay for me with their fluffy feet. I would highly recommend Regis and shall be staying there again, if the...

I was surprised by the high quality of the room and ensuite. Breakfast was also lovely and had a great selection. The photos on the b&b website, in my opinion, don't...

Once in a while, you come across a family-owned guest house which is near-perfect, and a better experience than any hotel at twice the price. This is one. Millie and Mike are superb hosts – nothing is too much trouble – and they have developed their establishment by aspiring to standards of excellence which leave others standing. Our twin room,...

It was lovely to be collected by Mike from the Ridgeway Path when we were hot and dusty and to be returned there the following morning refreshed after a comfortable night at this guest house. The evening meal cooked by Milly was most enjoyable and the breakfast was to die for. It was also a fabulous packed lunch which we...
