Just been to the crazy bear today for afternoon tea the whole experience was amazing food was really good and fresh there is one criticism though we were there to celebrate not only mothers day but also my parents 60th wedding anniversary and we couldnt bring there cake in because of a charge of £35.00 why everybody has cakes for...

I booked the one night stay with dinner, breakfast and champagne through Groupon for my mom and her partner for her birthday. I have to say that I was very worried after reading various TripAdvisor reviews, however, they both said that the stay was fantastic. They loved the quirky decor of the hotel and their room (15) and were impressed...

I've just check out this morning, so it's all fresh in my mind. Check in was seemless; we had the Groupon voucher like many others. We were taken to our room, glass of champagne in hand. Our room was lovely; we had an original room and it lived up to the quirky nature that the crazy bear is reputed for....

Stayed here on the Groupon deal. Initial impressions were good. Booking was easy, albeit dates available were scarce (which was understandable). When we arrived we received a polite welcome and glass of champagne. We were then showed to our room - deluxe room 12, bottle of champagne waiting. The room is up a VERY steep staircase in a loft at...

After reading the varied reviews we had mixed thoughts on our Groupon visit. On arrival we did have to pay £150 but this was explained and also was "in the small print" on our voucher. Check was good. I actually liked the London bus. A small glass of champagne was drunk on the way to our room. We were in...

So our first call was to book an overnight stay - this was in February we were told " no bookings until September" Second call end of February we managed to secure a Sunday evening at the end of June, great we thought until our personal circumstances changed and we needed to move the date, this was when we were...

Expensive but worth it. I think the old saying you get what you pay for and we had a fantastic experience. Food was great service was great and the room was superb. I think if anyone moans about the place they were either really unlucky or dont appreciate quality and probably should stay at a travel lodge

I really can't understand the bad reviews for this hotel as we had such a wonderful time. As with many visitors we booked via Groupon and upgraded to a suite which is situated at the other quieter end away from the main hotel. Because of its popularity, I checked availability directly with the Crazy Bear before actually purchasing the Groupon...

I have wanted to stay here for so long and the wait was worth it. We chose suite 3, we upgraded on a Groupon and so happy we did. I heard that some were not happy with their rooms but I honestly didn't want to leave mine! We had dinner, breakfast and champagne as part of the package. Yes I...

It was my birthday and my friends birthday in January so we decided to celebrate it together. We used the Groupon voucher but upgraded each others rooms to suites. Beautiful place even better in the summer which I'm hoping to visit then. Rooms lovely and clean bed so comfortable maybe a little small still large but not king. (Just what...
