We stayed on a Saturday night with a group of 13 - an annual get together that has been going on for many years, staying at different locations each year. We had a wonderful weekend, with dinner in a private room. The food was delicious and service excellent. We didn't take advantage of the full gin-tasting experience - but some...

This hotel is my local, they change their menu every day, it is always imaginative and a lovely surprise. You can have almost a private room for a romantic meal or a small celebration with a few friends. They also have rooms available which is good for guests. Sundays are good as they have gin tasting and the perfect lazy...

Stopped here after a summers evening walk. Great weather for sitting outside and thall dog was welcome. The food was delightful. Good wine list and nice choice of local beers. We will return. Downside; no cushions on outdoor seating, would be a great improvement and we'd have sat there longer... perhaps even another bottle of wine!

Finally managed to get to use my birthday present of a Gin Blending Experience at the Plough with the expert Martin Agius - owner of the Plough - sharing with my good friend and Gin Buddy, and helped by the wives. We spend the best part of an hour and a half, smelling, tasking and blending our own Gin, under...

so much gin! what an interesting place, we stayed for DBB and gin blending. The hotel was clean, warm and welcoming- the staff were helpful and professional. Gin blending was a great experience, and to explore the gin pantry was awesome. Dinner and breakfast, very good- all in all an excellent stay- and we will return and recommend.
