We spent two nights with our litte son (2 yrs old) at this cosy place with a good value for your money. The rooms are nicely decorated and quiet, we had a room (No 7) in the old building overlooking the courtyard and the small river on the other side. The Hotel manager was really helpful and attentative. Food was...

Dear Chris F I am so pleased you enjoyed everything the Kings Head has to offer - the great food, service, rooms, and beautiful surroundings. Apologies there was a slight error with your room allocation - as you said: had you mentioned your disability at the time of booking, I'm sure we would have guranteed your ground-floor room allocation was...

Great little Cotswolds pub, stayed for a weekend. Found the rooms very nicely knitted out and the coffee machine was a great touch. Bed was great and room very clean. Food at dinner was good but felt just slightly overpriced. We had a big problem with 2 of our meals were burnt. So much so the manager was in obvious...

I've known this pub for 48 years and have a huge fund of the VERY happiest memories since April 1968. Most recently my wife and I (and our dog) have continued to travel well over 200 miles from Anglesey to spend a few nights at this gem of a place whenever we get the opportunity. Superb beds and comfortable rooms...

We stayed here for just one night whilst visiting the Cotswolds. We received a warm welcome and taken to our room. The room was beautiful, full of charm, very clean and spacious. Enjoyed a great nights sleep and then started the next day with breakfast The food was BEAUTIFUL. This definitely won our 'best breakfast of the holiday' faultless. We...

Dear Beth S Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback - it's always nice to receive a 'best breakfast of the holiday' award!! Monday lunchtime so very quiet but we had a great meal. This was a birthday lunch for a close friend and we all enjoyed our meal. I had mushroom risotto which was excellent, others ate plaice, and fish & chips - all good. Puddings are particularly delicious, affogato (not sure about spelling!) went down well and the ice creams are...

Its very difficult to describe TKHI without simply writing a list of superlatives. Its a good location for a motoring trip around the Cotswolds and only a mile from a railway station too. Its beautiful, don't hesitate, go there.
