We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary due to its location and the lovely photos of the exterior. On arrival we were directed to a room in the stable block. A modern 4 square room with no character. The only decoration being the...More

We have fortunately never had to write such a bad review. The quiet room we requested was located above the kitchen and next to the swinging doors. The generators were located just outside our windows. The room, and particularly the bathroom, were filthy with bedding...More

I have stayed here many times before. I had a long stay due to family circumstances. The building is beautiful, and in lovely grounds. It is well kept. I had a single room, they are all small but perfectly functional. As with all buildings of...More

The room was very basic- shades of peach and brown and the bathroom was quite mouldy. Yes, the room felt clean but it was dated and the bathroom was very much in need of refurbishment. We stayed two nights and our room wasn’t cleaned during...More

I do not recall there being a pool but it does have nice gardens and is right on the Thames. There is a little lido a short walk from the hotel on the green in front of the river, but I think this may be more for children
