The room looked nice upon arrival. However the divan bed was very rickety and very uncomfortable. The bathroom was filthy, the grouting around the bath was covered in mould. The breakfast was very nice and the staff helpful.

Stayed here after visiting friends in Didcot and after reading some of the reviews was expecting very little. I was pleasantly surprised...it’s tucked away from relatively main roads but is extremely picturesque with fantastic buildings and scenery. The receptionist was very helpful as was the...More

Stayed here for one night when attending a course at nearby Denman College. I had a room in the ‘new block’. I had a large room with beautiful views over the Thames and countryside. The room was clean and everything worked. The biscuits were Border...More

I do not recall there being a pool but it does have nice gardens and is right on the Thames. There is a little lido a short walk from the hotel on the green in front of the river, but I think this may be more for children

Sorry I do not know. However the town is 2 minutes walk away so I'm sure there must be a bus service which would take you into Oxford town centre
