All in all a good place, food was good, especially breakfast, friendly staff and good atmosphere. The room was a little bland, no wall hangings, there was nowhere to hang towels which was a bit odd and my room (3) seemed to be above some kind of generator, I had to open the window as it was hot but then...

We walked in the staff where friendly, deco was tired but willing to give it a go. We are pretty easy going, we new it would be noise as rooms over pub but did not expect noise all night from fans....we booked larger double....well if ours was the larger (room 1) goodness knows how small the others were. Food was...

It was so loud in the room due to kitchen extractor fan on ALL NIGHT just beneath our window - sounded like a motor running and I got about 2 hours sleep. Staff not at all apologetic. Double room very small for price. Breakfast was ok and location good for visiting Sherwood forest. I wouldn't book again.

Came here just for some food whilst driving by. Staff were very friendly but the food let the place down. We both had burgers and unfortunately the meat was quite dry and the salad in the burger wasn't fresh.

Friendly staff; was, however, rather surprised that they don't service rooms (I stayed 2 nights and bed not made;bathroom not cleaned) but it's cheap! Tiny single bed though. No frills and only BBC on TV.

I stayed overnight following a wedding do nearby. This is basically a (chain group) pub with rooms. Not too attractive on the outside but inside it's fine, probably redecorated in the last 10 years. Clean and spacious. Ample car parking. Friendly staff. Rooms very clean (mine was spotless), all en suite and adequately equipped for a short stay - TV,...

We stayed at this Pub just for one night. The rooms are rather old fashioned and the décor is dull but the bedroom was clean and had all amenities required. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. Breakfast was very good and the cost was not too expensive.

Ordered the belly pork for my main course. It came in a bowl with vegetables and swimming in gravy. Totally disgusting. Whoever was responsible for putting that meal together needs training in cooking and presentation.

We stayed for one night in March 2016, as we needed a stopover after visiting family in Lincolnshire. We found the staff to be pleasant, the meal we had in the evening was actually very nice and there was no problem with the breakfast either. The room itself had seen better days. The window led to a fire escape, but...
