My Mum, my husband and I have just enjoyed a very comfortable four night stay at the Bakehouse in Seahouses. Our host, Julie, made us all feel very welcome and provided us with a delicious tea and homemade cake on our arrival. Our bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms were spotless and every home comfort was provided. Bathrobes were a very much...

I was looking for somewhere nice to stay as a seaside stop off point between Teesside and Edinburgh. I wanted to show some Kiwi friends the beauties of the Northumberland coastline- Bamburgh and Holy Island were on my list. We arrived at The Bakehouse mid afternoon and were greeted by lovely Julie, a pot of tea and some fabulous cake,...

I was looking for a B&B in Seahouses which had interconnecting rooms. The Bakehouse was the only one who responded to my emails. Julie, the owner, offered me the family suite, which was perfect - a double room with en suite with an adjoining twin room with a bathroom across a private corridor. Both rooms were beautifully decorated, homely but...

Julie and peter were so welcoming and helpful. We were on a family cycling trip on the coast and castles route and this was my best nights sleep on the tour. Julie was really helpful storing our bikes for us. The rooms were extremely comfortable. Julie's breakfast was amazing. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I have stayed at ‘The Bakehouse’ several times, on my own, in a couple and now with a young family but have never got round to writing a review. After my latest visit I felt that I must write down what an amazing B&B this is which is able to cater to the needs of any type of traveller. If...

The rooms we had were lovely, very spacious, lovely comfy beds and we slept very well. Breakfast was very yummy, lots of...

We stayed for two nights during our coastal walk. Julie greeted us with a smile from beginning to end and was an amazing and gracious host. She provided many great suggestions for activities and dinner. The rooms are modern, immaculately clean and have all the comforts including complete tea and coffee service and heated towel racks. The wifi works great...

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Bakehouse. Peter and Julie are so welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast superb. It was no problem for them to store our bicycles indoors - many places expect me to leave my bike outside!

Our fourth stay at The Bakehouse in a year and it was so wonderful to be back and welcomed by Julie's lovely smile. Again we were in the Red Room as we had our daughter with us but we stayed as a couple earlier in the year and were in the Blue Room which was just as comfortable. The Red...

We arrived after a long, cold drive up from the Midlands. We were shown into the lounge by the owner and greeted with a pot of coffee, muffins and a burning fire. The owner was very friendly and advised us on the local amenities, where we should go for dinner and which pubs to go to. The rooms were very...
