Been twice to Wyndgrove House and will certainly recommend a visit. Close enough to walk into town for food and drinks, but far enough away so it's quiet. Breakfast is superb. Rooms are clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Looking forward to being able to return again.

Spent just one night here whilst touring the north and found this place via Booking.com. Lucky choice too as we couldn't fault it. Liked the relaxed feel to the place and the young owners are obviously striving hard to offer a great deal. Can't stand a lot of fuss at check-in so this was a breeze. Fully intend to stay... More

Situated just down Main Street in Seahouses, good location, off street parking. Nice welcome, relaxed atmosphere, which I really appreciate, as I hate "fussy" hosts. Wilfred made us very welcome. He gave some great recommendations for places to eat, and was very knowledgeable about the weather and the wind direction. Breakfasts were very good indeed, my husband really rated the... More

Attended a wedding at Newton hall and this little cottage looked lovely on trip advisor so we snapped it up. When we arrived and were shown to our room we were pleased with everything. Breakfast was lovely, the man serving breakfast didn't seem very pleased, but I wouldn't be at that time of day to be fair. All in all... More

Booked a last minute night here and was really glad we did. Owner really friendly and gave good recommendations of local pubs and restaurants. Room was really clean with an ensuite shower. Home made biscuits and fresh milk was another bonus. The best part was definitely the breakfast, fresh fruit buffet followed by a lovely hot breakfast cooked to order.... More

As a group of 4 we stayed 2 nights for a trip to the Farnes. Gorgeous rooms, fabulous showers and amazing breakfasts- what more could you want! The attention to detail was spot on even including fresh milk for tea and coffee in our room. Off road car parking and a short 10-15min walk into the centre. We definitely hope... More

Stayed for 2 nights in this lovely home in a convenient location about 15 minutes walk from the sea front, and handy for all the attractions in this part of the country. Comfortable room, good shower in bathroom. Enjoyed the homemade shortbread biscuits and nice to have the choice of hot chocolate. Good breakfast, especially the berry compote and yoghurt.... More

Just stayed for two nights and can't speak highly enough of the property. Friendly and informative host, lovely room, great breakfast and an ideal location to explore the local area. Short walk from centre of Seahouses. Home made biscuits in the room were a nice touch and the accommodation very clean. Happily accommodated us with an early breakfast in order... More
