Just got back from a 5-night stay at this B&B. Colin and Jenny were wonderful hosts and really friendly and helpful. My room was clean and tidy and the breakfasts were enough to set me up for each day's walking and sightseeing. There is plenty of information on places to visit in the local area, bus timetables and day walks....

We stayed here last weekend, and yes the bed was very slightly wobbly and Mr Sales was going to get it looked at. Both Jenny and Colin were very welcoming and the breakfasts were great. They were also very knowledgeable about the area and have provided lots of information to help guests find our way about. In fact they have...

We stayed at Fairfield whilst on a weekend "taster" trip to Northumberland over Easter weekend. I was a bit unsure of what to expect due to an old review given by a previous visitor, but I can honestly say we were pleasantly surprised. Mr & Mrs Sales were very welcoming and provide a lovely home full of character. The off...

Having spent several holidays over recent years at Fairfield with Mr and Mrs Sales, I can honestly say it is one of the best B&B's I have stopped in. They are always very friendly and accomodating. The accomodation is of a good standard and is ideally situated for the town and harbour. I have visited at least once a year...
