We only dropped in for dinner and did not stay in the hotel. We understood from the Manager that he has only recently taken over the position and has high ambitions for the hotel. He was very attentive if somewhat over familiar. The food was good as were the views and the ambiance in the Dining Room was lovely. Dining...

stayed here for a night, I have to say I wouldn't return, numerous things really, room was lovely we looked out to the rear of the hotel, outside in the courtyard was rather untidy, smell of smoke when the window was open especially as this seems an area for chefs to sit, we ate at the hotel in the evening...

We visited holy island on an evening hoping to have a nice meal somewhere. Unfortunately, arriving at 8.15 pm saw us turned away from several places as everyone stops serving at 8pm! Argh! We were starving! We decided to pop into here for a quick drink, and appreciate the beautiful castle views it had to offer. On the off chance...

This isn't a review of the hotel as we didn't stay, just of the restaurant. We chose to eat here as it seemed to have more choices than the other local eateries that had been recommended to us. However we found why this wasn't on the recommended list. I started with a Pate & Chutney. Pate was nice enough, cranberry...

Went last weekend for lunch with my hubby. Staff are nice and the vibe is relaxed and friendly. Lovely beer garden with views over the water. We both had fish and chips which were great. Not bad prices either would go back and recommend.

I had the single room at the hotel which has the perfect view over the harbour towards the castle. Very good food and beers in the lounge bar. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient parking right at the hotel makes a great place to stay on Holy Island.

This is one of the larger establishments on Holy Island, and very popular. The room was a nice size, and although without flourish very comfortable. The food was good and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful.. The hotel is immediately next to the priory and it is a very peaceful place once the day tourist leave .

We stayed overnight whilst visiting Holy Island. It was lovely to explore the island after the tide came in and most people went back to the mainland. The hotel was beautifully situated and we sat and enjoyed afternoon tea in the garden next to the Priory, overlooking the harbour and looking at the castle in the sunshine - what more...

We were desperate to stay on the island and thankfully we were able to book a double room with the hotel. On our request we had our two daughters and two adults share a king size bed (family room had gone). The room was a nice size and immaculate. The lounge area is very homely and the restaurant has an...
