Since our last visit the Manor House has changed ownership. We always stay in room 10 which has recently been refurbished. We were somewhat surprised to find the chairs and coffee table had been moved and faced the bathroom rather than in the dormer overlooking the harbour and the castle. We moved the telescope (not a very good one) and...

Being a frequent visitor to lindisfarne I have stayed in numerous hotels and guest houses . My last two visits I stayed here. Being classed as being disabled tho I am active the young man kindly took my luggage up to my room, very polite and chatty. The room I stayed in last time was book so I had a...

We stumbled upon this lovely pub and we're very happy we did. We only had a few drinks in the garden but the food did look lovely well worth a visit we will definitely come back again. The pub also has beautiful views from the garden.

We told a member of staff that the room was dusty upon arrival. Nothing was done until the following day - there was a cursory dusting of the headboard. However there were still empty packets of tea sachets under the dressing table, a tissue under the bed along with a lot of dust! For £115 a night this is a...

Ordered fish and chips first night, fish huge, delicious, chips, x3 times cooked, too many, and cut very, very chunky, sadly, also cooked very dark bordering on burnt, so left them, no mint in minted peas, second night, 7 tables of customers in restaurant, 5 of the tables had their requested orders mixed up, brilliant, faulty towers. Someone asked for...

Unfortunately with stiff competition from other pubs on the island, the Manor struggled in comparison. There were mix ups between the waiting and kitchen staff and the food was not as described on the menu. Easter Saturday was probably one of the busiest days of the year, but that is just making excuses. The staff removed items from our bill...

I stayed here in September with my partner (apologies for the lateness of this review) The hotel is pleasant if a bit featureless, the views from the breakfast room were simply stunning, okay breakfast but what let it down for me was the standard of the room we stayed in, it overlooked a back street, was really small, only a...

I ordered fish and chips, the fish was locally caught and the haddock fillet was HUGE. Home cut chips and minted mushy peas, delicious.i have a good appetite but I would probably order the "smaller appetite" version on my next visit. Interesting local beers on offer too

Fortunately we booked the day before, for an evening meal. A large party used the bulk of the Restaurant on the night. We soon found a space in the bar. The bar was light and roomy. The bar staff were attentive and although very busy, they did not rush our questions. I had a half chicken roasted, with chunky hand...
