Spent the weekend with 2 adults and 8 young girls to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday - what a wonderful experience on a spotless site with very helpful members of staff. I visited initially to see if the site was suitable and whether the girls would be entertained for the weekend - both Anne and Christine were exceedingly helpful giving...

Visited on Sunday morning after a walk to the nearby beach. Café was busy but managed to get my favourite table in front of the fire. Good food and drink, and the staff kindly opened the art centre for me. An enjoyable morning and something a bit different for a Sunday.

We called here before our walk for drinks. Then called back for Sunday Lunch. Very nice too. I had the Pork & my husband had the beef both lovely. Worth a visit if you are in the area. We had a lovely walk to Spittal after our drinks therefore ready for Sunday Lunch after our walk.

Thanks for your kind review. We are delighted that you enjoy your drinks and that we tempted you back to have a delicious home made Sunday Lunch. We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful area for walking and the views along the coastline are breathtaking. We hope to see you again when you are in the area.

We had a lovely weekend which was a true get away from it all. The wigwam was so insulated we were warm and toasty even though it was minus two outside. You need to pay for electricity but it only cost two pounds per day as we had the panel heater and fridge running. The kitchen has two cooker, toasters,...

Thanks for your kind review. We are delighted that you found your wigwam warm and cosy and that everything was to your liking. We hope to see you again in the future, maybe in warmer weather so you can appreciate the lighter nights and sit outside with your camp fire.

I visited pot-a-doodle-do last Thursday after a morning walk down Cocklawburn beach. It was a beautiful sunny day however very cold with frost on the ground so the fire and welcome atmosphere in the café was lovely and cosy. The food selection was good and very reasonably priced. I ordered a hot chocolate and a cake and sat in front...

Had a two night stay in early November. It was very cold and windy so we were worried the wig wam would be freezing, but they are great structures and the heaters are very effective. If you're visiting Lindisfarne or Berwick, then you can't beat this place on price and privacy. Their on site facilities are really good and their...

Booked a 3 night stay, last minute on a groupon deal. Was expecting a chilly November weekend but have braved much worse so was all for it after seeing the reviews. Double glazed windows and an electric heater meant the wigwam was cosy first and foremost. The bed was extremely comfy and the electric meter was cheap to run. Lights...

Clean, good service, lovely cakes. Well set out with a roaring fire to keep the November chill out. They obviously cater for their campers on site as well as craft classes and passers-by, which we were.

We arrived in the dark..coming from the South we found it hard to find. Once there we struggled to find where the house was to pick up key as it was so dark but I'm sure if we had rang the owners they would have come to find us...the pods are lovely and cosy. We took our own bed linen...
