I had stayed here at Bridgeview B&B 11 years ago and was delighted to discover it was still run by Lynda and her now partner Jack. It is a very short walk from the railway station and I had a lovely welcome. I was shown to the single room I had occupied before with it's convenient and private own separate...

I found a room here at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised by my stay. Lynda was so friendly, and a fund of knowledge about Berwick's history and sights. The room and bath were clean and cozy, and breakfast was huge. A short walk from the railway station, and right around the corner from a lovely cafe/art store. The...

I have been to Berwick a few times and never really liked the place too much. Now I have changed my opinion. The "Bridgeview" is very close to the town centre but absolutely quiet. No traffic noise. From the outside it looked unimposing and very small. But when Lynda stood in the doorway to welcome us we knew that we...

Bridge View B&B was a lovely place to say for a night while visiting Berwick. I chose it because the price was very reasonable (£40) and the location was convenient to the station/town, but I got much more than I expected. My room was the single room in the back of the house. It was cozy and quiet - the...

What a wonderful place to stay! The room was a refuge for tired walkers and a refreshing sanctuary, conveniently located in this remarkable, historic town. Not least of its attractions are the hosts, Jack and Lynda, who are a font of historical information on the town and it's environs. Great breakfasts, locally sourced and artfully prepared. Fantastic whiskey marmalade and...

A single room with bed, easy chair, wardrobe, mirrors, wash basin, TV tea coffee and biscuits. Stayed here for 4 days in May to walk along the coast, very comfortable and homely, everything handy including shortbread in the room with the tea and coffee. Jack and Lynda are very knowledgeable about Berwick and the wider area and helped with travel and "where to eat supper" questions. Didn't need to eat lunch - the breakfasts were superb...

My friend and I were travelling North when unfortunately her back went. After a brief stop in Berwick infirmary (wonderful service but hopefully we won't be going back there in a hurry!) we decided to amend our travel plans and stay the night in Berwick. The very helpful TIO got us a room at Bridge View and we arrived in...
