Visited with the family must say the staff were ok. The inn was clean and bright but that's as good as it got! We had 2 fish and chips as what we both wanted wasn't available. Consisted of mainly batter with a small "basket" of very burnt & greasy chips, I only ate one. Garden peas sprinkled over the batter,...

I cannot believe the reviews I have read are about the same place. We have stayed here many weekends while house hunting and the service is excellent. It is always nice to meet other dog owners and there is never a shortage of those here. Handy for visiting Holy Island, Berwick, Alnwick and loads more places in the North of...

Nice location just off the road to Lindisfarne, and dog friendly, with a separate restaurant room specially for people with dogs. Dog bowls outside too. Decent menu, a little restricted for vegetarians, nothing vegan, but if you want good pub grub this is for you.

We booked, and when we arrived it was busy but staff very welcoming. We placed our order and nothing arrived. After 30 mins the restaurant become much quieter and I went and asked if they had forgotten us, they claimed not but quickly two very overpriced unimpressive starters turned up the sort of thing a child might serve up. Another...

We stopped at this pub by chance as we'd noticed that it allowed dogs in a section of the bar, allowing us to eat a meal indoors with our dogs. The bartender/ waiter couldn't have been any more accommodating, making room for the 5 of us with 2 dogs, even though another party had reserved a large table in the...

The Inn is very clean and the staff were very helpful, the room was smallish but very well looked after, clean and warm. The location is excellent and though on the side of the A1 there was very little road noise. Food was better than good and a decent selection, though my favourite meal is breakfast and that was plentiful...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Lindisfarne Inn and enjoyed two wonderful days and nights in this really friendly professionally run property. Situated just alongside the A1 at Beal it is the prefect base to visit all the key attractions of the magnificent Northumbrian Coast and Scottish Borders.
