I chose this venue for a 2 night business trip. very warm welcome from staff, spotlessly clean and enormous room with very comfortable bed and really powerful shower. Food good. Very good value for money, however the décor in the corridors made it very gloomy.

We stayed for one night as a family of 4 in a family room as we wanted to visit Alnwick Gardens and the castle. The hotel is located on a small business park on the outskirts of Alnwick but close proximity to all the sites - a 5 minute drive away. The hotel is smart and clean looking building and...

Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Friendly and helpful staff. Don't risk the sharing Carribean Dessert - it beat us and there was still about half left! Delicious though. :-) Easy access from the A1.

This hotel and its staff deserve all the high praise they get , from checking in , to room quality to bar and resteraunt staff . Everyone of them are polite and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and kept well maintained. Rooms 110 onwards are close to the A1 and a gentle hum of traffic can be heard.

Stayed here for a night as part of a wedding party. Room was clean and perfectly adequate - cheap pillows and mattress though. After the wedding we wanted to sit with some family and friends in the lounge/bar but the guy on duty locked the doors and said that he was waiting for us to leave so he could finish...

We are sorry to read this review. As was explained to you at the time of your stay, you did not need to pay for the room. Another guest who was part of your group said they would pay for the room as it was their error. This was explained to you, but you instead on paying. Your attitude towards...

Excellent service in the restaurant and the Steak was unbelievable but the selection made it difficult to find something I liked, about 9 starters and all of which had something in them I don't like, I'm not a really fussy person but at least 3 of the starters had red pepper in. It seemed to be a task to find...

Thank you for your review. Puzzled about the starters though - in addition to specials we have a great range of dishes including ten specials on our menu. I've had a look just now and only two have red pepper in them? Always ask a member of our team and we will do our best to tweak a dish for...
