Staff need training in customer service, not offered drink refills sauces with our meals, in fact was rather ignored by the staff who stood chatting at bar. The food was edible but bland and lacked any presentation. It was hardly surprising we were the only diners.

Went to this hotel after having this bought as a weekend away present. Parking is to the rear of the hotel with an overspill carpark also. We stayed in a room off to the rear of the hotel as this was a dog friendly room. On arrival the room was large with a lovely large comfy bed and was lovely...

Visited specifically to eat in the Olympic dinning room and that was a fantastic experience, despite some confusion around whether we had booked dinning or not. Their staff need some training in how to handle customers when issues such as this arise, blaming the customer is not the approach when clearly their internal systems are at fault, we were one...

The very helpful staff directed me to a quiet, comfortable corner seat in the bistro. I enjoyed a coffee and a glass of wine, whilst discreetly resting my foot on a chair and also charging my phone. The food looked very good, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. A great place if you need to relax a while in Alnwick.

We stayed here for one night on the way from Edinburgh home to Sheffield. This feels like a "proper" hotel. Revolving door, big reception area and lovely staircase. Friendly and efficient reception and a good room on first floor, overlooking main road. However, if staying again I would always ask for a room on the other side as the road...

This is the second time we've stayed at the hotel and it is a pretty well presented and friendly hotel. The staff are helpful and do a good job. All in all,we had a pleasant stay but there are one or two things that didn't seem quite right... The rooms are spacious and well appointed but the room we stayed...

Enjoyed a 3 night stay on a Groupon deal including B and B. Not sure I would consider it in future if not on this kind of deal. Fairly standard room but clean and quiet, with a view over the courtyard garden. The hot breakfasts, served in the beautiful Olympic Suite, were freshly cooked to order and delicious. The cold...
