Just spent five nights in this lovely B&B in Alnwick. Beautiful room on the third floor. Breakfasts are very tasty, especially the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Property has been renovated to a very high standard. Towels and bed linen changed during our stay. Would recommend staying here. Close to the town centre and within walking distance of the Castle...

We have just returned from four nights at Oronsay Guest House and can thoroughly recommend it. The premises have been thoroughly renovated by hosts Charles and Chris to a high standard. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts were brilliant. Chris is a great cook, and the choice was very wide ranging, in a warm and...

Off-street parking, great room and breakfast with a view. Very close to Barter Book, 5 minutes walk from Alnwick Gardens and the castle. 5 minutes to several restaurants and the town square. 6 minutes to the launderette.

Stayed here for 4 nights B&B. I have nothing but praise for the room and the proprietors. The room was clean, with tea/coffee making facilities, biscuits and bottled water every day. Charles and Christine were extremely efficient, courteous and friendly. However I've saved the best while last. The breakfast, absolutely amazing. We had to state our choices the day before,...

The breakfast just cannot be beaten, Fruit salad with perfectly ripe fresh fruit, mango, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple and I think guava, The bacon and sausage are really good and the Craster kippers delicious. My partner had the french toast with bacon and maple syrup. We stayed...

Stayed for four nights with a small cycling group and enjoyed great hospitality from the owners. I had the large "suite" which, though not quite a suite (room, hall and bathroom), was huge, immaculately clean and well furnished. Breakfast very good indeed. Not cheap but worth the price. Highly recommended.

You cannot fault this guest house, it was absolutely immaculate from top to bottom. The breakfast was top class. Made welcome from the minute of arrival. Friendly and courteous. Easy parking and with a minutes walk to the town centre.

This is a guest house rather than a hotel but it is extremely well run by Charles and Christina Scott. The room I had was immaculate with everything you could reasonably want in such an establishment. Bathroom was spotless with thick lovely towels and the electric shower worked well. Breakfast needs to be ordered the evening before but the cooking...

We stayed four nights at Oronsay house recently and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.Charles & Christine are excellent hosts and made us both feel very welcome. We had the large room at the front of the house which was excellent and, although this looked onto the main road, any traffic noise didn't disturb us. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless as,...
