A high standard cosy, stylish and comfortable B&B in the heart of Alnwick only minutes away from the heart of Alnwick market square, Barter Books, Alnwick Playhouse and the bus station. We have 2 rooms one ensuite and a Family room with separate private bathroom comprising bath and shower.Free WiFi is available.
Just like all other reviews say this is a lovely friendly b&b. We were made very welcome by the owner. It's very clean. It has some lovely touches . Tea coffee in your room . Toiletries in the bathroom. Lots of leaflets about the area. Books magazines . In fact everything you would need. Breakfast was so nice . It's cooked fresh each morning you come down to a set table. Which was lovely. Then breakfast tea and toast arrives .. with a 5 min walk to town this is a lovely place to stay in alnwick. Thankyou for our lovely stay

Alnwick is just the right size for exploring on foot. This B&B is close to the bus station, tourist info office, a big grocery store, and in easy walking distance of other shops and Alnwick Castle -- but on a quiet street. A comfortable bed, huge breakfast, and a friendly host made this a fine place to spend a few nights. The bedroom was colorfully decorated and, though small, had a plenty of storage.

A unique house. Lovely original paintings and photographs displayed, courtesy of the owners. Breakfast was very nice. All the information that we needed about different places was available and our host was very knowledgeable about the area. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

Stayed here with my wife in June. My wife was really taken with the bold decor in our room, I was particularly pleased with the tasty 'full English' breakfast. Paul was a jovial host and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere to the B&B. It was well located, with none of the attractions (Alnwick Castle/Gardens, Barter Books, town centre eateries) more than a 15 minute stroll. On street parking, but no issues in finding a space within a couple of car lengths from the properly (quiet street). Well worth consideration.

I booked this b&b for my partners birthday mainly because of the positive reviews on trip advisor, and wasn't disappointed. We arrived after a long drive from Leeds to be warmly greeted by Helen, she took our orders and times for breakfast and showed us to our room. A few minutes later we had a knock at the door and Paul her husband introduced himself, gave us advice on where to go and wished us a good stay. The b&b is so charming it has beautiful decor with lovely artwork adorning all the walls.Breakfast was served quickly by Paul, which was superb, we had the full English but there were other choices available. Our room was bright and airy, with a very comfortable bed, we slept like logs because it was so quiet! I highly recommend The Percy Terrace guest house and will book again hopefully for next year.....…

We stayed here last weekend for 2 nights and really enjoyed ourselves, we were made to feel extremely welcome by Paul! We would recommend the full English for breakfast it was excellent! On the Friday night we had a meal at the treehouse in Alnwick Gardens which is a must visit, alongside visiting the gardens and castle the next day! The hotel is must stay for anyone visiting Alnwick as it is so central! Rooms are spacious and well decorated with free wifi and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits!

What a lovely little B & B this is. Up a quiet road only a couple of hundred yards from the town centre. We felt more of a family guest than a paying member of the public as there are only two rooms and the 2nd one wasn't used, so we certainly got the personal service (inc some fab home made cake as a welcome). Our room was good and spacious with nice large windows. Parking is on the street but there always seemed to be a space nearby Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a vfm getaway.

Loved the location (close to everything and really quiet), fab original artwork , clean warm room with its bold trendy décor, lovely quality and very tasty breakfast, pleasant and helpful owner. Unfortunately the smell of damp, particularly in the en-suite, really put us off what is essentially a lovely B&B and why I could only rate it as average. It obviously isn't an issue for some reviewers but it would put me off staying there again which is a shame.

Very nice - an excellent choice if you don’t just want a “run of the mill” experience. A lovely, charming B & B in a quiet area, just 3 minutes walk from Alnwick town centre. Great décor, which is (as had been said by others), colourful, tasteful, classy and trendy, complimenting a serene, cosy atmosphere. Rooms are modest but spotlessly clean and well equipped. Bed very comfortable indeed, with a small but functional bathroom. What fundamentally and positively adds to the experience is your host Paul, who makes you feel both welcome and comfortable with a smile and easy conversation and a good sense of humour. Very helpful but not intrusive. A mountain of information if you wish to tap into his extensive local knowledge. His wife is a talented artist and we learned Paul is a talented photographer. He is also the Chef and his breakfasts are excellent - perfectly cooked and presented. The croissants were as good as any we have had in France. Lovely dining room as well. You usually get what you pay for and this was well worth the money for the experience we had. No hesitation in recommending Percy Terrace.…

Percy Terrace b&b was in central Alnwick, so it was great for visiting the castle, railway station second hand bookshop & the small town etc. Lovely welcome by Paul (a kiwi). A very modest room that had its own unique style, set in a quiet street. We would recommend.
