A small 2 bedroomed B&B in great quiet location in Alnwick opposite the Church. Bells strike on the 1/4 hour but not intrusive. Lovely large comfortable bed with quality linen. Lovely spacious bathroom with White Company products. Bath with shower over. Nice touches include wine glasses, proper mugs, chocolate biscuits, plenty of coat hangers. Good breakfasts, especially enjoyed poached fruits,... More

This is a wonderful B&B. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. There are lots of nice touches, such as a big supply of local maps and books on sights and walks, which we used a lot, spare umbrellas and wellies, etc., The wifi was very quick. It felt a real 'home... More

What a fabulous B&B! We stayed for 2 nights and could happily have stayed for a week! Our room was very well equipped and comfortable especially the huge bed! Maureen and Peter were first class hosts. So friendly and informative and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were wonderful. Fresh and very tasty! The honeyed plums were to die... More

My wife and I stayed here only one night, which was a shame as the quality and standard of this accommodation I would rate as being extremely high, we could quite easily have stayed longer...........and actually while on the subject of a one night stay, when attempting to book our stay in Alnwick there were a few other properties I... Stayed over Easter for three nights in Church View. The room is lovely, bed v comfy and we weren't disturbed at all by the (soft) church bells from over the road. The roomy en suite has a roll-top bath which was great after long walks but no stand up shower. Breakfast is varied and fantastic. In addition, Maureen and Peter... More

From the moment we arrived Maureen and Peter excelled at every turn. My bedroom lacked for nothing , and breakfast was a feast in every way, Maureen and Peter went beyond the call of duty to make our short stay in Alnwick a holiday we will remember, and the sooner we can return the better . Feel as if we... More

Ever since my boyfriend booked this b&b I had been dreaming that we would get the room with the roll top bath.. And I wasnt disappointed! The house is beautifully decorated with objects from Maureen and Peters family which adds to the charm! We were greeted with tea and cake upon arrival which was very welcome after our long drive.... July 30th. We arrived to a very warm welcome from our hosts who after showing us to our rooms invited us down for tea and home made cake and to advise us regarding various eating places one of which was the the Oaks pub just a short walk away where we had a lovely dinner. The rooms and food at... More

This was the second time we had stayed at Courtyard Garden and it is a really wonderful B&B. We had a lovely stay. Rooms are really lovely and so nicely decorated, very comfortable bed and large room. Really good location, close to Alnwick centre and its attractions in walking distance. Also a good location for exploring Northumberland. Really fantastic breakfast,... More

I had used previous Tripadvisor reviews when choosing The Courtyard Garden so my expectations were already high when I arrived. I was not disappointed. I stayed in Courtyard View for three nights and for two of those my daughter and her husband were in Church View. Both have lovely spacious bathrooms with windows - I hate windowless bathrooms but accept... More
