Very friendly and welcoming host Karen. Rooms clean and comfortable with separate guest access. Superb breakfast cooked to order. Water pressure in our shower (room 3) was very low with varying temperature but hardly a major issue unless you are trying to wash very long hair. Car parking either 5 mins walk away (short stay only)next to Police Stn or...

After parking in the car park by the police station, cannot park outside but the walk is only minutes, we rang the bell and were given a very warm welcome by Karen. Karen then fully explained the fact that she likes us to order our breakfast and say what time we would like to eat, the day before, and handed...

a beautiful, homely property with fantastic hosts. Ideally placed. We loved our stay in Knaresborough. Kirkgate House was just perfect. Spotlessly clean. Lots of lovely touches and delicious breakfasts. We will certainly be returning soon and would highly recommend.

We have stayed here a few times. Sometimes in the B&B rooms, sometimes in the self catering apartment. Karen makes a great host. She makes an exceptional breakfast. Beautiful house, perfect central location. We highly recommend staying here. We will definitely return!

In the centre of Knaresborough, but in a very quiet street just off the main square, this little gem was perfect. No matter what the weather, still lovely walks and sights to see. The accommodation was 5 star and the host was really welcoming and friendly; room was gorgeous and breakfast wonderful, cooked to order and served hot. Will be...

Friendly hosts. Immaculately clean. Great location in the center of Knaresborough The breakfasts are fabulous with plenty of choice, but we always had wonderful full Yorkshire breakfasts, which set us up for the day ahead.

The accommodation is about 100yards from the main shops, pubs and square and all local amenities are within walking distance. The owner Karen is very welcoming and friendly and only too willing to help with your stay from the minute you arrive to the minute...

Stayed one night and could not fault this B&B. Location is excellent. 2 minutes from the town square. The place is spotless and our room was better than some hotels we've stayed in at twice the price. A lovely breakfast served in front of a roaring real fire. All the xmas decorations made it feel cosy & welcoming. 10 out...

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had picked a winner here. The location of this B&B is perfect. Located on Kirkgate St, it is just a street below the Knaresborough castle thus a few minutes walk from the castle carpark where we left our car (pay-and-display parking at £1 for 2 hours, but if you arrive after 6pm...
