After a gentle saunter, upstream mind, on a hot spring afternoon, away from the madding crowds of Hawes market day, the sight of Hardraw Beck and The Green Dragon most welcome. A tasty well kept beer and cool flavoursome sauvignon blanc hit the spot, so we had to try a second :-)

We had an over night stay here last year in the bunk house. Couldn't fault it. Cheap cheerful and comfy bed. Booked the bunk house this time but got upgraded. Loved it. Landlady and staff were great. Nothing too much trouble. Yummy breakfast too. Old fashioned, roaring fire, very quaint . We'll be back...

Stopped here and had a light lunch, found the pub to be very welcoming and cozy :) we then paid the fee and visited Hardraw Force which is in the grounds of the Green Dragon Inn. Definitely worth the visit!

The food wasnt brilliant you got what you payed for when coming to order drinks they refused cups of tea yet other people had cups of tea. Basically you could have a cup of tea without food or vice versa. Also asked for Rosa wine so ended up with tap water. Would highly recommend the waterfall the pub not so...

We were passing here with friends and family, and stopped by. The staff and bar service were good, but we ordered food and though the service was good again, for what you pay we really would have expected better quality. I do recommend popping in to the pub, but maybe for a drink and spend your 50 or 60 quid...

Dig friendly is the only good thing yo say. Ordered drinks - got the wrong ones. Ordered sandwich - waited 1 hour. When went to get refund. No real apologies. No worth a visit only yo get to the waterfall.

We camped and had a meal the bar. Campsite is well kept and you get a walk to the waterfall thrown into the price. Showers are hot, toilets are clean. Bar meal wasn't the best. A bit like a school dinner and the portion was a little stingy. The place hasn't changed much in the past 30 years and is...

I first set foot in this pub 45 years ago and little seems to have changed, at least as far as the pub itself is concerned. It is a real English pub but it does need, not a makeover but some care attention, and yes some love. It shouldn't be ruined in a drive to modernise but it is in...

Mmmm, different prices for the waterfall: £7.50, £5.00, £2.50. Which one is it? And no, you don't have to access the waterfall via the pub, theres a pathway at the side, that takes you to the visitor centre, which marks the access point for the path. Have any of you really been there? The "Dragon" running the bar is actually...

We stayed here for 2 nights at the weekend. This is a very mixed review so I apologise before I start if it sounds confusing. Originally we booked for Saturday night only and booked Bed an d Breakfast for an agreed price of £90 in a double room with small kitchen area.I asked if we could eat there on Saturday...
