Easily the best Guest House I checked in to on the Pennine Way, the most comfortable and spacious en-suite room at such a great price. Close to the town centre and just a stone's throw off the national trail. Wayne is a very obliging host, he provides a humongous full English breakfast to fuel you up for the task ahead.

We stayed at this B & B for one night. The room was big with a very comfortable bed. We had a great view of the surroundings from the room. The breakfast was excellent. It’s only a couple of minutes walk from the city centre. A very good place to stay in Hawes.

Lovely big rooms, an amazing welcome, great breakfast and friendly owner. Everything was good about this place, slept well, very clean, tea and cake on arrival and lovely chatty and friendly owner. Good location in Hawes away from the centre so nice and quiet but easy walk to all pubs and restaurants.

The B&B is a beautifully restored home and Wayne is a fabulous host. The room was lovely and comfortable, with a good sized en suite bathroom. A well stock refreshments tray was provided. The glass in the door could do with some kind of blind or pull-across curtain to block out the landing light and give privacy. We had to... More

Thank you for your kind review. We are sorry you did not enjoy our room featuring the original door with the 2 glass inserts. The door is part of the original design of the house designed to let natural light flow into the landing during the day. The glass itself is textured glass designed to allow the light to pass... Thank you for your lovely review. Wayne, our host, gave us an excellent Australian welcome to Hawes. This was a beautiful Victorian house on the edge of the town centre and our room was large and comfortable with a great view from the bathroom. Our excellent breakfast was served at a communal table.

I stayed here while walking the Pennine Way. Host Wayne was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were very spacious, and breakfast was excellent. A few minutes walk leads to the centre of Hawes with a choice of pubs and restaurants for an evening meal. Highly recommend!
