Spent one night here and was very pleased. Nice location and great views from the beer garden, the Guinness is excellent!!! Nice restaurant and reasonable choice on the menu. Food was hot and tasty with the staff being polite and helpful. The room being a double was on the top floor, which could be difficult for some people. The shower...

We booked this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday, having found it through the reviews on booking.com. It was a fantastic experience all round. The pub was cosy and friendly, with a good range of ales - everything you want from a country pub on a chilly March day. The rooms were excellent, very comfortable beds with crisp bedding, lovely...

We called in here on our way home and took advantage of the 'pie week' promotion. I ordered the chicken pie and my partner ordered the steak pie. We were hoping for a nice homemade pie, however we were very disappointed when the food arrived. We were presented with a dry and mass produced pie, a few chips in a...

Hello Pam I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your meal here during 'Pie Week'. During that week our chefs made (in our own kitchen!!!) and we sold - 217 pies! It is the first time that I have heard that any of the pies were dry, as we have had only compliments about them, and unusual that this was both,...

We had eaten at the Aysgarth Falls Hotel on a previous visit to the area, but this time we chose to stay overnight. As well as great food in a relaxed atmosphere, the Superior Double Room we took was spacious and clean, had good facilities, a fabulous shower and incredibly comfortable king size bed. Evening meals can be taken in...

We recently stayed for five nights at this hotel. Great location with plenty of walks from the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the walks from Aysgarth Falls to West Burton (beautiful village) and from the falls to Castle Bolton. We also walked to Askrigg (where All Creatures Great and Small was filmed for those old enough to remember!) via Askrigg Moor...

After a visit to aysgarth falls, we stopped off for Sunday lunch here, and were not disappointed, delicious starters and both mains were more than enough to keep us full all the way home, many thanks to the polite staff and excellent chef, we shall definitely dine here again if we are in the area.
