We only stayed for one night but were really looked after. Our room was upgraded on arrival and was very well equipped with bottled water, Molton Brown toiletries and a large 5ft bed. The evening meal in the dining room was excellent (gluten free options were no problem) with after dinner coffee served in the lounge in front of the...

We stayed 1 night at the weekend. This was our 5th stay at the Traddock and as ever it was perfect. From the moment you walk in through the sitting area with the log fires lit, to the friendly reception and lovely rooms you feel relaxed and well cared for. The food has always been excellent and the service attentive...

The UK is full of 'Country House Hotels', 'Romantic Getaways', and many similar descriptions. Experience has shown that some hit the mark, others don't. This place scores a bulls-eye for both. Superbly comfortable and beautifully appointed with very well trained, friendly, yet professional staff, and a chef who delivers highly attractive and imaginative yet filling food. All in all a...

As the song goes - the weather outside was frightful, but the fire was so delightful. As soon as you drive up, you know the Traddock is a special place. And the interior is as beautiful as the exterior, with a wealth of period features, and an unending supply of comfy sofas. We opted for the one in front of...

We enjoyed our stay here with our dog. The hotel has plenty of parking spaces on site. The grounds and gardens were beautiful and well maintained. Our room was small but cosy! Breakfasts were great - not the standard buffet in hotels, but home made and gluten free was catered for. The best thing was the shower! - one of...

We booked a weekend break arriving very late on Friday evening. The staff were very welcoming and responded extremely quickly when we pointed out a minor problem with our room. After many apologies and a complimentary pre-dinner drink, we had the first of our excellent evening meals and a very good night's sleep. The room was spotless, well appointed, comfortable...
