I don't understand all the bad reviews. I booked last minute and received a text advising to call on arrival. I was met by a very pleasant gentleman who showed me to my room. I got a moderate sized room (number 2) with a wet room and double bed with LCD TV and tea and coffee making facilities. There were...

You book, you phone for a key and you are left to yourself you may never see a member of staff. It's easy to find your way around to your room. Its in the Town centre and 10 mins walk from the train station yet possibly because it neighbours Scunthorpes Police Station it's very quiet outside. Possibly due to reviews...

It seems that this was once a nice hotel - however the dining hall/bar area is closed, and there are no staff present. When we arrived, we had to call a phone number, and someone arrived to let us in about 10 minutes later. We were given keys and left to it, the hotel unattended by staff again. The room...

This place is a joke. No staff onsite, the place is deserted, you're meant to call them, wait 15 minutes, and then led to your room. Biggest spider I've seen in the last decade hiding in the corner of the bedroom. Damp in the ceiling, rusty radiators, broken toilet seat. One tiny soap is the extent of the luxury toiletries...

This was not a nice experience. Run down appearance proved to be a run down experience. Musty, damp and uninviting were the better points. No staff, no services, once booked in you are on your own. I would not reccomend this place at all, to anyone.

The place is all but shut. There are no staff on site. The bedding was not clean. There were hairs in the bed. As we had to be somewhere we put our stuff in the room and went out. we didn't discover any of this till 1am to late to do anything about it. Take my advice. Stay somewhere else.

No no no. Once they had decided that the bar and restaurant was closing it should have shut. It is like staying in a squat. I would have slept in the car but the pay and display car park opposite was even less safe. No one here when I arrived. Key left outside. Windows locked shut in the room, heating...

We arrived on a dark December evening, big public pay and display car park opposite. The front door was locked with a sign to ring this number. So I rang and about 5-10 mins later someone walked up the street to let me in. Upon check in I was asked if the others in my group(2) would be arriving soon,...

We stayed here for 3 nights and given the price it was a good option for business stays. I wouldn't stay here for a holiday but then not many go to Scunthorpe on holiday. There are a few important things to note about this place. Firstly the bar/restaurant are closed but there's a good pub just around the corner and...
