Dear Paul H, Thank you for leaving your current review of your visit to the Brasserie, I note from your profile that you have visited us on two other occasions and on each have been very complimentary of the restaurant and the service you received also stating that you would be returning. I do take on board your feedback as I do all feedback from guests because without this I would not be able to improve the service offered to guests. However there are a few details I feel I must clarify. The hotel received a pre-order for you meal which clearly stated 1 Fish and Chips with Peas and Tartare Sauce and 4 Fish and Chips without sauce and peas. This was checked on arrival with the gentleman that booked the table and confirmed as correct. The waitress did only take the food back to the kitchen once to return with the revised request. The chips ordered for the Braised Ham were an additional request after the meal had been served and thus would incur a slightly delay as they are cooked from fresh. I do agree that there are some shortcomings on the our part and for these I would like to sincerely apologise and will be discussing them with F & B Manager with regards to retraining of staff members. I am saddened that after visiting us before and experiencing excellent service that you have decided not to visit us again. Dear Hayley Thank you for your comments we offer bottled water in our deluxe rooms and not in the standard. However, this is something that we are exploring in the coming months. This is not something that is offered in the hotels locally so hopefully we will be the first hotel to offer that service. Thank you for your question and the opportunity to reply.
