The hotel is warm, and relatively comfy. The room cost us £28.50 for the night and I really couldn't of asked for any more for my money. The hotel itself could use an update with paint, but it was clean and comfortable and cheap!!!! The TV is tiny like others have stated but who stays at a hotel to watch...

Stayed in room 120 for 1 night. Depends what you're after. Here are the good points: It is cheap. It is warm. Here are the not so good points. Hotel is covered in battered threadbare carpet. There is no bar. There is no restaurant. The nearest shop is 5 miles away. My carpet was amass with suspicious stains. The sheets...

We stayed here 24th September When we drove to the hotel I was ready to turn home its in total need of a full make over for sure! However when walking in it was not that bad, cheap and tacky but for £43 for 2 of us and my cat it was fine. When pulling up we thought FANTASTIC there's...

Well, what can I say. This place should be condemned...in fact half it may well be as it doesn't seem to be open!! Creepy old place with thick dust covered drapes and chandeliers in the old stairwells......was probably great 30 years ago! First room was damp with plaster bubbling from the walls and a damp, musty smell throughout with black...

Run down is not describing it accurately needs to be knocked down Very funky smell throughout and family room is a joke. Attitude if the receptionist was appalling. I know it is a budget hotel but there should be a level if standard for human habitability. I must say we did not enjoy our 10 minute stay.

Let's be realistic here. You pay £43 for a double room with complimentary continental breakfast. What are you exactly expecting ? Stayed there for one night yesterday. Dated room but spotlessly clean. Plenty of choice of cereals at breakfast with coffee and toast, Very friendly and efficient lady at reception. Quiet nights sleep.Traffic from the A46 is not the fault...

The room was clean and the Bath room was clean but a little tired the price of the Hotel is reasonable and the Manageress is very friendly Ordering food in is an option and the breakfast roll varied from good to tough overy the four days I stayed there. I personally found the place interesting reminding me of the 1980s...

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very tired looking on the outside and carries through to the interior. Throughout the hotel you get the impression that the bare minimum has been done to 'get by'. The rooms are very basic - you have to pay an additional £2.50 for a tea tray for your room....
