We arrived during a storm, dripping wet on our bikes having cycled up from Northamptonshire, 'lets get the bikes sorted and you dry' was the welcome, the owners could not have been more helpful. A very clean and comfortable room, included a breakfast bar and all we needed for an early start the following day.Would certainly recommend based on our...

I've been working a couple of miles down the road on a contract recently and this place is a little gem. Comfy rooms and a beautiful garden. The owner is always more than helpful and accommodating. Will be going back as soon as I hear whether I'm working in the area again for sure.

Good location to start with a positive. Pink room. Below average stay and that's being generous, things like stained sheets and towel didn't really put us in a good frame of mind about the place. Asked to have towel changed, massive yellow stain on it! She seemed surprised we'd want it changed, but changed it anyway. TV in room didn't...

We stayed for a party in the village hall. House is clean with a very comfy bed. Garden is stunning and we liked the breakfast in the fridge set up so we could enjoy it in bed after a night partying! Definitely recommended. There is a fridge/ cooker unit with bread cereal tea coffee toaster brioche rolls. It's a country...

We booked the Grange Country House without knowing what to expect, we were delighted to find a charming house and hostess. We stayed in the yellow room, which has a balcony overlooking the gardens which are lovely. The room has en-suit bathroom and a kitchenette for breakfast which is supplied. Overall we had a great 2 night stay, we were...

I stayed here when during the Belton Horse Trials, though it was a little far, however, that's completely my fault. The owner was absolutely lovely and could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. My room was exactly what I needed, with a small kitchen (stocked with breakfast items, teas and coffees), shower and loo, it did me very well....

Very welcoming. The room and en suite could do with updating but adequate for the price. Bed was comfortable and a variety of cereals, yogurt and bread for toast for breakfast. Expected a table and chairs rather than breakfast bar which I'm not keen on. The arm chairs were very narrow and tired looking. Oh and a bit odd having...

A very comfortable guest house. Rooms are a good size, kitchen area was just right for us to make our own breakfast with everything supplied. (Bring your own fruit.) The land lady, Jude was very helpful and her local knowledge helped - we made it back to Birmingham Airport without incident! I recommend a walk around the garden and there...

I stayed here for four nights due to work. Very cosy and comfortable, liked the idea of a kitchenette. Rooms quite good size. My colleague and I both said we would like to stay here again if we are back working in the area. Very pleasant owner and very helpful.
